De-plod and cuss

Postby fallenmikethebike » Sun Jan 06, 2013 5:10 pm

I was stopped on the tarmac Byway at Hindhead today. I was literally just trickling along, but plod felt the need to check my credentials.
What is so galling is that last weekend when I called in about some definite illegal riding taking place on a Byway, the police attended, caught them still in the process of acting illegally, but gave them a severe good telling off  So I'm guessing the illegals won't be doing that in a hurry again   .
It does make you wonder if they even know what they need to be looking for, other than it's got two wheels, or sometimes four.
If any of you do, or are thinking about " off piste" activity around Hindhead, plods on the lookout.

Thanks for the heads up.

I don't think they do know what they are looking for tbh.

They just see bike and do their job. Thing is, better you be checked than they miss checking a complete bellend who happens to behaving themselves at that moment.

So long as they aren't bullying you I could forgive them. On a ride over that way before Christmas I remember there was a non TRF group out that was being horrid, driving fast and splashing people.
