If that is you... I would personally like to ask you to join the TRF. It is now easier than ever. Just click here: http://www.trf.org.uk/wp-join-the-trf/
On this page you'll see that we think its "the most important £45 you will spend this year", and it explains the reasons... the most important is that your £45 contributes to our TRF fighting fund which is the critical pot of money that the TRF uses to mount legal challenges to proposed lane closures. The TRF has stood its ground and won most of the legal challenges it has pursued. But even when we win, it costs money. Highways Authorities know that they can not ignore or ride roughshod over us. And if you still aren't convinced, then go and have a look at GL£AM, and judge the risk to responsible and sustainable trail riding, for yourself. http://www.gleam-uk.org/our-aims/
If that is not enough to convince you - I also believe we have a fantastic local club. Members are welcome to join us at our monthly club-night in Ripley, attend special presentations, find out where to ride from our master maps, go on runs led by other club members, take part in our regular events such as our "longest day" map-book and BBQ event, Christmas Curry, go on rides further afield, or brush up on riding skills at our fantastic value training events. As well as that a number of members engage with local Councils, finding out what is going on and representing the view of responsible trail riders.
However, I will also confess, that the most important reason why you should join up to South London and Surrey TRF is that we are the third biggest in the Country, behind Devon and Herts, and we need to do better than third place. We're not far behind Herts and I would really like it if we put the prolific Herts TRF Director Mario in his place, that is, third place, behind the South London and Surrey massive!!!

So how many more reasons do you need? Join today! And, if you pay by Direct Debit, you get 10% off, so that is just £40.50. It keeps getting better!
