Christmas curry?

We need to think about a date as December is getting booked up. We normally do it as part of a club night so after Christmas, 29th, fifth Tuesday? Or before?

We probably need one person to take a lead organising, and they can set the date.
My suggestion is that it is in the run up to Christmas - sometime early Dec- what about w/c 7 Dec.

Happy to coordinate the Christmas curry.

I went to Jimmys in Epsom last week and it has been refurbished and appears to have a large area that could cater for a large group.

Agree getting a date in the diary is key upon which I'd contact Jimmy's and check availability etc.

So let's go with the suggestion w/c 7th December.

Venue: Jimmys Spices, Epsom.

Date: Friday 11th December

Time: 07:30pm

Buffet price I believe is around the 20 quid mark.

In the first instance please reply with a yes or no to the date.

The venue does different types of food, indian being one of them.

I'll update this posting with the names tracked with yes replies from this point on.

Sorry for the hassle for those already posted saying yes I'll go....I just need to know if the date works for you.

17 people so far have said yes they would like to come to the Christmas curry at Jimmys in Epsom on 11th December from 07:30pm.

Ok I went down to Jimmy's paid the deposit of £5 per head (£85) for 17 people based on the latest yes please etc from the forum.

The pub next door is the Slug and Lettuce not All Bar One.

On Friday 11th December suggest meeting for a beer in Slug and Lettuce from 6:30pm on and then going the very short distance to Jimmy's for 7:30pm.

Please please be on time for the food at 7:30pm..we have a two hour time slot. They will kick us out at 9:30pm to fill the tables with other hungry punters.

Following this another pub can be explored, maybe the Marquis of Granby, Albion or Rifleman.

So see you all at the Slug and Lettuce or at Jimmys on Friday 11th December in Epsom.....btw its nearly Christmas!!!
