Indicators for my KTM 450
Hi guys, having acquired my KTM with no indicators I'm wondering if anyone has any advice about getting some attached. Cost etc. Does anyone have any experience fitting indicators to a KTM 450 EXC? The bike has the buttons just not the lights. Do I need to buy a couple of pairs and somehow fit them myself or are there brackets / mounts on the market that will fit? Thank you.

Re: Indicators for my KTM 450
The KTM's come with indicators - most people remove them and stick em in the KTM bag along with other stuff that does not get used..........
If they are missing, they have been removed (probably). If you are lucky, the wiring and the relay will still be there (if you remove the headlight, there is a row of electrical connectors under the speedo). The relay is normally mounted on the right of this bunch of connectors (when looking from the front of the bike). If you have the relay and connectors, post on here and I'm sure someone will have some originals that they will sell you cheap (I have 4, but one is broken). I think the front indicators are mounted on a small bar that fits under the speedo (might have one of these)............
Check to see if you have the relay and cables first.................

I'm getting the impression here that maybe I shouldn't bother! I'm new to riding so being on the road without them made me feel a bit exposed but I guess I'll get used to it.
Thank you very much for the info though mudeevee, really useful. I will have a check and maybe post later to see if anyone has some originals.
Thanks much appreciated

You could of course, go through the pain and hours of fettling to get the blinkers working and looking lovely - then find that they fall-off/smash or get kicked off by your heavy boots on the very first lane.

mudevee has taken his off because they're completely useless if the bike is vertical

I could have used them to indicate a left or right shoulder landing
