Air filters

Hi all

What's the best way to clean your air filter and what should you clean it in?
&
What filter oil would people recommended?

Personally, I have 4 or 5 air filters. I change them regularly and then do a job lot of cleaning. Cleaning wise, I now use the washing machine! Other methods are messy and I get away with using an old wash machine.

Air filter oil. I now prefer the aerosol type. Motorex has a good product.

Note that if you get 5 replies on here, they will probably differ from my reply. Try em all...
