Ride Leader Training

Postby TonyR » Thu May 18, 2017 12:19 am

Hi all

I'm planning to organise a few ride leader training days to try to encourage newer members, or those of you that have been members of Surrey TRF for some time, to get out and lead some runs. The training will be done in the Surrey hills area and will comprise of....

Ride etiquette & code of conduct
Route planning & map reading
Using & recording GPX files on electronic devices
Pacing a run to suit beginners
What to do in an emergency

If anyone is interested in becoming a ride leader please add your name to this thread and I'll sort out some dates.

Tony

Please add Sean (Shovels) and Kirk.

The 2 of them have been waiting a while to put something back - right up their street.
