Beta EVO 300 2T

Postby NigelC » Wed Feb 28, 2018 5:08 pm

Seen one of these for sale including the Range Extender seat/tank unit, which gives it about 7 litres total I think.

Any one any clue whether this could realistically be a true dual-purpose trials/trail bike, or will this end up being neither...?

Thanks

I think fuel range might still be an issue unless you carry fuel with you, and the average/part-time trials rider finds the 300 a bit of a handful. Why not one of these:

260cc, very capable at both trials and trail riding.

Not really suitable, very soft suspension and very small.

If you fancy 2 stroke then try one of these: http://www.freestylebikes.co.uk/bikes/a ... rco-x-ride

Perfect LDT bike, club trials bike and occasional Green Roader.

Hi Nigel,

I'm with Dom, the 4Ride is the one if you want a trials/trail bike, maybe because I have one :D

If you want to have a try give me a shout.

Murray.

Ooooooooooh, wow, now, that 4Ride does look interesting, and the backing of Honda behind the engineering.

I guess it compares with the KTM Freeride, but coming at the dual trail/trial from the trials direction rather than enduro.

I think I need to give one a try! ;)

I'll give you a ping in a few weeks Murray, if that offer still stands? :D
