Coldharbour lane

I have today reported a fault on Coldharbour Comon Lane, this is at the very sharp turn just east of the tower. At this turn, the cables laid under the track have become exposed, due probably to erosion and possibly also by 4x4 use, exposing the outer cable sheath, which is now now cracked and lying to one side, leaving the inner casing of 3 heavy duty cables exposed. If these are pierced, there may be serious consequences. Please take care on this turn, and avoid these cables, ie swing wide to avoid, lets hope the electricity board or telecomms peole can sort it soon, without resorting to long term closure. ( there may however be a temporary closure imposed soon for repair, but probably not until the new year) .
