Biker Down! - First Aid training we should all know

Postby FlyingOx » Mon Apr 01, 2019 11:45 am

Myself and Rob attended an excellent Biker Down training course at Guildford Fire Station recently.

Not wanting to spoil the plot too much, the syllabus covers:

Managing the scene
DR C ABC and how to remove a helmet
Defensive Riding tips

There was plenty of hands on training, discussion and advice from Surrey Fire & Rescue and Wey Valley IAM.

Even if you have done this training in the past, thinking has now moved on especially in the areas of catastrophic bleeding and CPR, so there is something for everyone.

Time is precious, this is 3 hours of your time very well spent!

Here are a list of dates in Guildford

And for those more South London

Please book onto a course.

Safe riding everyone,
Chris.

Thanks Chris

A group of us did this a few years ago.

It is highly recommended.
