Just came across this original version using a 250 2-stroke.
Seems to be in a class of 1, where KTM have taken one of their enduro bikes and moved it towards a trials bike.
Could be an ideal bike for technical trails and a bit of action up at Hookwood...?
Anyone ridden one?
Comments welcomed,
Cheers

Rumoured to be hard to start.

Re: KTM Freeride 250R
As Trickey says can be troublesome to start but many got upgraded batteries/starters. Very popular LDT bike weighing only 92kg but not so popular on the trails. The 350 4stroke version is a better trail bike.
Brakes are pretty rubbish on all free rides needing constant attention.

Gordon farley motorcycles in Guildford have Pippa's old one up for sale, good bike when Pippa owned it, unlike most of them hers always started. Still looks good.

Hookwoods, LDT's and some technical trail riding? You would be hard pushed to beat a Montesa 4ride, extremely pleased with mine, you are welcome to try it any time.
