I don't know what happened.
I have managed to get a couple of hours off work, so I will be able to attend the funeral.

I was lucky enough to meet Bob on one of our rides. He rode a beaten up 2 stroke, but sure could ride the wheels off the thing!!! Very, very sad news. Rest in peace Bob.

Hi,
Chris, Richard, Stuart, Mark & Steve from the TRF, riders from Kingston MCC, together with his family and other friends attended the funeral to pay our respects to Bob and give him our love. The crematorium was full, there was a good ceremony and a very heart felt eulogy by an old friend of Bob. It was good that we were able to remember the good times with Bob and support his family. Bob was a great person, always so enthusiastic about his riding, exploits on his trips & life, its tragic that he died so young.
Regards
Steve

Re: Very sad news - Bob Hardwick has passed away
Have attached a picture of Bob from the funeral card.
A big loss to the clubman B class .. me and rich hobbs used Bob as a marker at enduro's as he was generally a bit better than us .. despite riding a (really) old snotter !!
He was always delightful and friendly face .. but hard to hear at the funeral that he had issues with addiction to prescription drugs off and on ... would never have known about that.
Gutted that I didnt say goodbye or knew that he was in a bad way during the last few months.
Really feel that the TRF has a big FELLOWSHIP element and so felt we should stress that ..
If you are reading this and need some help......
Feel free to pm me and the TRF can rally round and drag you out of a physical or emotional hole .. just like we would if you were in a f*cking bog !
