Anyway, Ossa a Spanish company which seem to be doing well in the states have have a 2'stroke fuel injected bike with reverse cylinders which looks amazing on their website. Something they showed at the EICMA show in Milan.

Also now that Yamaha have their first fuel injected 2stroke mx prototype it probably won't be long before we start seeing some bikes for laning with all the benefits of a 2 stroke but with EFI/DI economy, emissions and smooth operation.
I'm hoping for 2014 for the excitement to kick off but realistically i guess we're probably looking at 2015/16
Edit:
Thought it was worth mentioning after talks with different people in the industry..
The consensus seems to be that the only thing stopping the production of 2t EFI is two things:
1. The emissions regs haven't necessitated it.
2. Where Yamaha is concerned the US needs to facilitate a demand and likewise for KTM - Europe.
