My stepdaughter who works for Mercedes Benz World at Brooklands won an employee of the month prize today, she is a 23 year old `little girl`.
Her prize was an AMG C63 for a week.
She came home tonight to show me the car and somehow i managed to end up with the keys...............
I am not really a car person, I have a Subaru Impreza but i really dont know why,I have had it 8 years and cannot be bothered to change it mainly because i cant think what to change it for.
Went out in the AMG, f##k me,not only did it make my Subaru seem slow it also made my Fireblade feel like a C90,I have never felt so frightened yet so excited at the same time. The acceleration was unbelievable, handling so precise I wish i had it for a day to get used to it. Or perhaps not ,according to the computer my driving `style` was registering about 9 mpg..................
If anyone has a spare £100 you can do an hour in one at MB World at Weybridge, money well spent, probably not as exiting as coming down the hill from Newlands to Shere in sport mode as fast as bowels dictate but still good value for money. Now where can i lay my hand on 80 grand........................
Sharpie do you need anyone as club treasurer......................

Re: Not a Bike
Steve, like you cars really don't do it for me. I haven't sold a car I've owned since 1997 and only on my 3rd since then.
When I last went to see my granddaughter oop North, I got roped into picking shocks up on the way for my son in laws Subaru WRX. Little did I know I would get roped into fitting them as well.
My reward for helping was a drive in his P&J. Whoopey bloody woo I thought........until I pulled away in it. 420bhp and weighs as much as an ethiopian on hunger strike
Great fun and very excillerating but I bet you don't feel bumps that could split your arsehole in the Merc

Re: Not a Bike
Hahaha 9 MPG!? Would have been excellent to be sat as passenger for that

Good to know tho Steve thanks
My birthdays fast approaching so I've been looking at a couple of track days I can do at places like Goodwood where you get a Ferrari, then Lamborghini, the something else for several laps each, but had never thought of an AMG!!
So Steve after the AMG what's next?
