I snapped my achilles tendon in my left leg (not riding) and had an operation to rejoin it on Tuesday.

I am in a plaster cast for 2 weeks and if all goes well then move to a air cast boot for up to 10 more weeks. It's a complete f**ker as I was off to Morocco on a 9 day biking trip in Nov....

Anyway I don't reckon I will be riding again until Christmas time at the earliest.... bummer, but will try and make it to clubnight

I am determined not to rush this as Luke did a similar thing a few years back and ended up twatting it a second time and being out of action for about a year.

Shattered clavicle, 3 busted ribs, punctured lung, damaged brachial plexus nerve. Worst of all? They cut my Fox 360 gear off me! Comeback ride planned for March 2014!

I'm 3 weeks post op to repair a torn shoulder muscle (old injury that wouldn't sort itself). Back in the saddle in March.

Poor old Stuart, though if you have to break something, that is one of the better bones - so I am told.

had a cycling accident last week...just a little fall over the handle bars...

broken collarbone and broken elbow. grrr thats wired and pinned with a metal plate. hope to be back on the bike in a few months, these 4 walls are driving me nuts
