If you do decide to get one make sure it's the top of the line model which still allows you to use your clutch when needed. (You don't want to be in a stuck at WOT situation and not be able to use your clutch)......

I had the Z-Start Pro on my SXF back when I was moto crossing and it helped a tad with my arm pump and stalling in tight corners. TBH I think they make you lazy and you will never learn proper clutch technique with one. Now that I have had one I probably would not buy another and would rather spend that cash on a Scott's steering damper. Horses for courses though......

Use your left hand when choking the 1 eyed monster dude..... LOL!

But, yes, it's great for those occassions when you just can't hold onto the grip and use the clutch anymore.

Had one fitted today , what a difference. Slow figure of eights in control then pull the throttle back and the front wheel comes up with out any lag. The proof will be Saturday out with lads.

Hi
Which version did you fit? Did you go EXP or Z-start?

Had a Z start on the honda a while ago. Did not like the feel of the clutch lever at idle (nothing there). Also, the bike was prone to hunting, so would 'creep'. Heard the EXP are much better. Be interested to hear your thoughts
Cheers

Got the EXP 3.0 with an adjustable slave cylinder. Went out to Hindhead last Friday via Sands , TIlford, Frensham .Churt no problems. Did not stall at all which I am prone to do, or fall off, which is a plus . Constant clutch feathering makes my wrist ache so that's why I got it. Can keep a firm grip on the handle bars while getting the front wheel up over logs and steps. No clutch slip in 1 2 3 but a bit in 4 and 5 . All in all a good system, works for me.
