helmet type for those that wear glasses
There seems to be two options for full face helmets; one with goggles and one with visor. For those that have to wear glasses whilst riding which do you prefer? What are the pro's and cons of both before I dish out the cash!

I haven't tried the visor type... Goggles will keep the dust out.
If you decide Goggles, make sure your glasses fit inside the goggles before buying and get anti-fog lenses. Worth trying the helmet and goggles with glasses to make sure all fits ok.

Visors, no thanks.
I think Oakley make a type of goggle specifically for glasses wearers.

I use the Oakley O frame goggles. Plenty of room for my other goggles and no discomfort

Depends what your doing, if your on a track go for goggles and visor for a bit of green lanning.
I found with goggles I have to take the foam from around the sides, to allow for better air flow to prevent glasses from fogging up.
Plenty of Dual Sport lids on here..http://www.ghostbikes.com/categorylist/ ... s-Helmets/

Thing I never liked about the one visor helmet I tried was the noise. My ears were ringing after a couple of hours riding. If you could recommend a good one I'd be willing to give them another shot, Stewie.
How long ago did you have that done Kris?

Re: helmet type for those that wear glasses
The 3 main dual sports helmets we do are .
Shoei hornet
Arai tour-x 4
Xlite 551
We also recently have taken in the caberg tourmax
Noise wise there only gona be as good as you get the fit you gotta start with them being comfortably SNUG !!
As they will only get bigger with use but make sure that it's not to snug that the eps liner is pushing on your head as this will not give and will give you a pressure point ...
Also ask about wearing the helmet in the comfort of your own home with all the stickers and tags on to ensure the fit is good.
We always suggest this :
Take helmet home wear it for an hour or more with all stickers and tags left in place as new
Take helmet off and give your self a break for 10-20 mins
Try helmet on again to ensure the fit still feels good
If unsure drop into your local store and get some one to run over a few things with you any decent store can help you with this
