Has anyone used theses.
I'm off to Normandy next week and guessing it's going to be very wet.
Would anyone recommend them or something else.

They work but they do have their limits. I prefer Spring waterproof socks which seem to work better. If you go with Sealskin get the military issue from eBay, works out slightly cheaper.

Re: Sealskin Socks
I have successfully used Sealskinz for years to keep my feet dry, never ride without them. Perfect for Normandy,
Just bought 2 pairs for overseas friends off Amazon, their prices were cheapest, £30 two weeks ago, but watch out for Amazon dynamic pricing week to week if you want the lowest price.
Ed.

Not used them myself but have heard only good things about them.
Do you have a link to the ones you refer too?

I used to use seal skinz years back highly recommend, your feet will feel wet to start with but after a while your feet will be warm as toast.
Now I use alpine star gore tec boot with a good pair of socks for winter riding

As Dominic says ex Military is the way to go. Tumble drying seems to destroy them.

Re: Sealskin Socks
I bought a new pair of the military issue seal skinz on ebay and used them today for a particularly muddy and wet enduro practice at action trax and feet were bone dry throughout.
A must have.
