Hi all.
I'm in the market for some new gloves as I'm fed up with having to nurse blisters after each ride. My current gloves are just road bike leather ones.
Please can people pop up some recommendations for me as there see to be so many options.
What I'm after:
Enduro/adventure gloves
A reasonable level of protection
Good for all weather and preferably all year (ish)
Comfy
Good value
Thanks.
Pete.

Re: Gloves
I was after the same as you and ended up with Sinisalo Enduro. I'd buy again. Waterproof as well.

Re: Gloves
I generally buy MX/enduro gloves off ebay from Matt Gardiner http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Matt-Gardiner- ... ub=6058089 they have a pretty huge stock at good prices (although you often find the cheap stuff is in limited sizes like XS), you could give them a ring on 01684 589839
If I'm going out in the rain (which is pretty unusual, I can't remember when I last did it), I wear a pair of neoprene gloves.

Re: Gloves
You should have tried on my Klim Dakar gloves on Saturday, nice and comfy with good feel. As discussed on Saturday the only 2 parts of your body that make contact with your bike are your hands (gloves) and feet (boots), get those 2 right for half a chance of staying on. Also bear in mind "buy cheap, buy twice".

Re: Gloves
+1 for the Klim Dakar.
I bought a pair for my Spain trip two years ago; 2,250 miles in 12 days, no blisters and no tingly fingers.
You won't find one glove (or even a pair, what use is one ?) that will be ideal for all year round. I have a pair of MSR Coldpro for wet winter riding.

I think the reason for the "manly blisters" is down to the fact that he needs a girlfriend...................................
