So I'm still trying to find some tyres for my MZ (which now runs I'll have you know).
But the tyres are small - I'm struggling to find anything suitable (and cheap - this is my daily hack and I'd rather have the road tyres on normally).
16" 3.25 (or 3.5?) (or 110/80?) on the back
18" 2.75 on the front
Any recommendations? Other than buying a proper bike thanks.

Re: midget tyres
Further to this, I can get Heidenau K41's in 16" 3.25 (original rear size), but 18's come in 3.00 only. In the rear .25 isn't an issue (I have 3.5s on at the moment I think) - will it go on the front?

Yep, throw it on, some of the 18 are directional so they can be fitted to front or back, but I don't think the K41's are as they are a block pattern

Guess I'd better look at ordering some then. And some tyre levers. Another new thing to learn.
I do need to work out a way to stop my seat coming off as well...

It might be worth looking at other fronts, there are a few more suitable tyres out there, even if it's just a K60.

What makes the K60 better? Bearing in mind my only off-road adventures to date have been inadvertent and generally ended in me and the bike in different locations...

Re: midget tyres
That means nothing to me I'm afraid. I thought directional meant it could turn either way - or maybe that it can go on either wheel? I'd only be fitting it to one wheel...
It has a k33 on the back which is a "traditional" tyre. Brand new as well - may see if I can resell it if I'm putting a dual purpose tyre on.

Directional means that the tread pattern goes one way on the rear and the other way on the front, It will be on the side wall of the tyre.

Ah, so tread is for grip and power delivery on the rear, and braking resistance whatsits on the front? Makes sense.
