VForce Reed Valve Replacement Instructions

Postby G-Bru » Wed Feb 20, 2013 5:14 pm

I could not find any information on the NET on how to replace the carbon petals in the VForce Reed Block.

Not sure where the lads over on KTM forums are ordering their petals from but I received instructions with the set I ordered for when they go bad.

Here they are should you need them in the future:

Do KTM not provide you a detailed Workshop Manual with exploded diagrams; I mean, maybe not for free, they are KTM.

Would've thought at the price they ask you'd have your own engineer following you on something more reliable, something Japanese.

Only kidding. Here's the link to KTM's manuals page in case it helps anyone getting to the point of having the reed in their hand. Don't know how useful they will be, but it's always good to have a copy for your bikes.

Already got the Owners Manual and Engine/Chassis Catalogues bruv! Repair Manual is what I need, waiting for a phone call from Tri-County to say my CD has arrived and relieve me of £10.

Really? Is that all KTM give you: an Owners Manual? Damn! You can DL Yamaha Workshop Manuals for free. Honda are tight tho they don't :/
