Hi, I want to fit a Magura (or similar) Hydraulic clutch to my WR250. Can anyone recommend someone who can do it?
Cheers

Re: Magura Clutch
Neither, I broke my wrist in three places a few years back and after a few hours on the bike I struggle to use the clutch anymore... So anything to make it easier....

Re: Magura Clutch
Hi MC,
I put a magura on the Honda CRF. A bit of fiddling, but nothing too painfull.
I found what I wanted at venhill (uk distributor for magura), gave them a call to find out the trade price (retail minus 30/40%). Then found a motorbike shop and asked them if they'd do a deal. Which they did. Still expensive, but 20% less than the shop door price.
There is a kit for the WR, but give venhill a call to check stock.
Next question depends on if the bike has a choke or hot start mounted on the clutch perch. They will do a model that includes the lever for this, if relevant.
Once you have the correct kit, fitting should be straightforward. In my case I completely fubar'd the slave cylinder and then mounted the hydraulic hose too close to the exhaust! New hose from venhill, new slave cylinder and a bit more fettling and I am very happy with the setup.
Very light pull compared to the cable and does not get stiffer as the day goes on.
Overall, if you were able to replace a clutch cable on the existing setup, you will be capable of putting a magura on.
Thanks
Derek

Re: Magura Clutch
The new model Maguras have I breakable style levers which seems like a good idea, over the old model which didn't.
