Found these guys - really good prices based in the UK and parently made in the UK too... im all up for supporting British industry rather than Chinese manufacturers :-)

Well quick delivery, and they come with new fixing bolts all for £32 inc postage which was RM recorded delivery,only time will tell how long they last but first impressions are good :D

Just put one on the front of my stinkwheel, seems fine as far as bite and feel go. We'll see how long it lasts.

I just bought a pair for my old Honda (before seeing this post) - they look good but have less holes than the standard (they have a few slots rather than lots of holes) so may not work so well in the wet - I haven't fitted them yet so I too will let you know how they fit the hub and align with pads and how the brakes feel after they are bedded in on the bike.

Mine works fine. Even in wet. Holes are there to make the disks lighter nothing more... :)

U sure about that ?

It's what we were told at college. But I suspect it has to do with cooling too. And friction. I guess it would ease brake fade and clear debris.

I always thought it was to increase the surface area, as heat loss through convection is increased in proportion to the surface area, thus reducing the risk of brake fade and keeping the pad gap :D
