Suspension service question
My new TE250 has 10 hrs on it and I have been told that I should recharge the nitrogen in the shock and change the fork fluid. Does this sound right?

Re: Suspension service question
no
but i can thoroughly recommend you get the suspension professionally set up for your weight and riding preferences.
Its a weird thing to do and there are no bolt on goodies that you can see but its some of the best money i ever spent.

Rich,
Its a bit of a dark art to me, who did you use? Rough idea of cost?
Thanks,
Murray

Re: Suspension service question
Well I used a company called MCT but there are lots out there.
Dr. shox is renowned. Seen a few write ups on his stuff.
The cost varies on what you get done. It's not cheap.

I can recommend Dr Shox; Chris does a fine job.

But, as you said, probably the most important thing you do/have done to a bike.
Be honest with whoever sorts it for you. If you mainly trail-ride, get it set up on the soft-side or make sure it can be adjusted that way. Suspension set up for racing will only work to it's full potential when you're "really on it".
