I'm getting a bit fed up of combining personal refuelling and bike refuelling - i.e. petrol station 'meal deals' - so I thought I'd start a thread to document biker-friendly cafes. Or pubs even.... back in the nineties when I joined Thames Valley TRF group it was common to stop at a pub for lunch... but values seem to have changed (for the better) and also I'm wary of letting my bike out of my sight for more than a few minutes.
So I guess I'm thinking of cafes where ideally you can keep an eye on your bike. I'll make a start and hopefully others can chip in, e.g. is there a cafe in the Hindhead area other than the hideously slow and expensive NT cafe at the Punchbowl?
I'll try and edit this post as we go along.
So here we go:
Rykas - Box Hill - TQ 171 520 http://www.rykas.co.uk/
The Jampot Dorking TQ 162 497 http://www.jam-pot.co.uk/#!contact/c1d94 (best for mid-week skivers, not open Sundays, or after 1pm on Saturdays)
Newlands Corner TQ 043 493 (take-away cafe at Newlands Car Park, plus sit-down cafe across the road)
Alton Railway Station SU 723 397 http://www.stationcafealton.com/
Loomies, West Meon Hut SU 650 262 http://www.loomies.co.uk/
Any more? e.g. Cranleigh area? they don't have to be super bike friendly, as long as they've got parking, can put up with muddy boots and clothing etc
thanks,
Graham

I tend to stop at pubs rather than cafes or petrol stations. You don't have to drink alcohol and I rather enjoy a sit down lunch and a natter with the chaps.
The flying bull in rake is recommended.
