Disposing of used motorcycle tyres
anyone discovered any economic (whilst ethical) ways of disposing of worn-out tyres? Local tip seems to want a fiver each one, I'm having a garage clear-out and have got half a dozen to get rid of

Follow this with interest. I have a bunch to dispose of too.

Try calling a local livery, they might use them for the horses?

I took 16 assorted tyres down to my local tip a short while back and had no issue getting shot of them. Kimpton Rd, Sutton....but you have to be a local resident

I have the same issue - £% a tyre at the tip, its the devils material!
Popped down to my local kwik fit and gave the manager a £% and he took the lot in his bins.

Do the horses use them to make them quieter on the roads or to get more grip when they use our byways ?
