local saddle recoverer?

Postby lama » Wed Nov 06, 2013 8:58 pm

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a local shop to recover my motorbike saddle?
When I lived in Bristol a local furniture upholsterer made a saddle cover for another of my bikes, and fitted it for much less than a dedicated motorbike saddle business. I'm hopeing someone can recommend someone similar near-ish Guildford.

Thanks

Try http://www.oakleaf-enterprise.org in Guildford. Did a great job of a bike seat cover for me several years ago. Very reasonable too. Tele 01483 303 649

Thanks for the replies.

Today I took my Yamaha TT250R saddle to J. Mussell & Son in Godalming, which is very close to me. I was quoted £60 + VAT and a one week turn round (could be quicker but not neccesary for me). He happened to have some blue vinyl that is a very similar shade to the original, which was lucky as I got the impression that he didn't have many colours.

I will let you know what I think of it when I ge it back.

Thanks again,

Lama
