Derek rode his recently acquired SWM to the show and placed it at the back of the stand as part of the display along with Mario's CRF250l.
When everything was sorted out it was time for a quick photo opportunity before the crowds descended.
The show opened and the hall soon filled, enquiries were coming in thick and fast from potential members wanting to know more about what we do, where to find their local group, and how to join the TRF.
There were a few occasions when it wasn't quite so busy and it didn't take Derek too long to find somewhere comfortable to have a little rest

There was a stage to our left, where bold adventurers were lining up to tell their tales of motorcycling across the continents of the world. The TRF had a slot at 3.30 and Mark Kinnard dutifully took on the task of a half hour Q&A session to explain that you can have motorcycling adventures a lot closer to home.
Which was well received and gave a further boost in sign-ups.
Overall I think we had a very successful day and managed to sign-up 24 new members, (several of which are local to our group) and answered loads of questions to those that are very interested but weren't ready to commit just yet.
