A date has been set for this years Curry night
This will replace the December club night.
Due to an attempted increase in costs by the usual providers of the buffet (£25.00 per head
!!!) at the British Legion I have done a bit of a sidestep in order to reduce the cost.So this year we will be having the curry in the restaurant of the Ripley Curry Garden (usual buffet providers) in Ripley High Street just round the corner from the British Legion.
The evening will be one of their standard "Banquet Nights" at a cost of £15.00 per head. This gives each person a choice of a starter, main dish, side dish and rice or naan bread. All choices are made from the normal menu (extra charge for King Prawn dishes).
I have initially reserved and paid a deposit for 30 places, we usually have around 35 at curry nights. More places may be available but if you leave it late it may well be full.
To reserve your place I will need you to make a payment of £15.00 to the TRF bank account by online banking giving your name (not forum name) and putting in curry as a reference. The bank details are Sort code 30-92-45 account number 29135360
You can also pay via PayPal using the friends and family option, enter [email protected] again please enter your name and the word curry.
I will be paying the restaurant for the meal but you will be responsible for paying for your own drinks
Once you have paid you are locked in, no cancellations or refunds it's just too much of a faff
So if you want to come along get in quick.
As we are in the restaurant the normal raffle has been moved to the AGM night in January.
