Group Officer News

Some Group Officer news:

Very soon we will be saying goodbye to our Rights of Road Officer John Toogood, who is moving away to the West Midlands next month.

In a very short period of time John has done a huge amount, including representing us to the Surrey Byway Working Group and initiating the positive PR initative. A massive thank you goes to John for all his contributions to the group!

Good news is that the positive PR initiative has led to James Cohen and Guy Perkins joining the team and taking forward work including on our new surreytrf.org.uk website, Z-card design and production and very soon, reinstating regular email updates for all group members.

Also very pleased to say Kevin Chesson is getting on board as our new Rights of Road Officer, picking up the baton from John, representing the group to Surrey County Council.

So that’s three for one!!!

We’ll be holding our postponed AGM as soon as we can gather (possibly July), giving members the chance to formally lend their support to all the officers (or not, if you do choose!)

Finally huge thank you to everyone helping make the fellowship what it is - run leaders, green road guardians, GRM editors and all our paid up members.
