Great, the more the merrier!

With regards riding the lanes on Saturday, the best stuff in South Devon with the classics (Piggery, Sims Hill etc ) are all based around the Newton Abbott area, which is circa 1 hr / 50 miles away from Raleghs Cross (Somerset) and Sunday's event.

I'm just trying to work on the logistics as to whether to just get up early and drive straight to Newton Abbott on Saturday morning (need to get some local intelligence on where to leave trailer(s) securely) or whether to drive the 50 miles from Raleghs to Newton Abbott on Sat morning.

At the moment we have secured one excellent run leader (we have a couple of mates from Peaks TRF who are also joining us for this), so there should be a couple of spare places for guiding (need to confirm how many he is happy to lead in one group - though its very different from Surrey and you can usually ride 120 miles and meet zero walkers and just the odd horse).

If numbers for guiding get tight, we should be able to provide some gpx routes.

Hi Gavin,
Just sorted booking etc for this event. Going to travel on Saturday, nice and relaxed. Staying at Raleghs Cross sat night. Might even stay over on Sunday, if I can wangle a days holiday!
All of which is long way of saying I won't make the ride on sat with Devon lads!
