Have just spoken to Dave . He`s out of intensive care and is on a normal ward .He`s a bit sore (understandable) but sounds in good spirits . Op went ok and the doctors are happy . It would take more than a few surgeons with sharp knives to keep that bad boy down . He should be out of hospital end of the week.

Just a little update on Dave . He is following the doctors orders to the letter, he is not drinking alcohol,smoking and is only eating healthy food. He is getting plenty of exercise and will not be driving for another week (advised not to drive for 6 weeks) and definitely didn`t go out on his bike to do a couple of local lanes 10 days after his op .................................

I've had my 6 week check and I am almost brand new with my 25mm valve so not long till I'm back riding.
