Re: More problems wth bike
My 2p worth - does the bike have alarm/immobiliser fitted? I had a BMW previously which would start some times and not others. I could not establish a pattern and it drove me nuts. Turned out it was the immobiliser.
B.T.W. Bev, I couldn't remember where you said you got your hand guards from. Was it TMR Motocross in Horley?

Re: More problems wth bike
At first when I read that I thought 'wow how high tech does he think this beta is?'
But then you got me thinking!!!!!!!!
What if its a faulty side stand switch causing it to cut out?
Edit:
Easy way to test if you know that you can start it with the stand down and the clutch pulled in. If true then next time it's being weird try pulling in clutch.
Also... Does it have a choke?
Dying to know what the fault is!!

Re: More problems wth bike
Not only have I never heard of a woodruff key I never would have guessed it'd have been something to do with the stator on a bike so new. REFUND
