Have you two been out during daylight hours recently?
Riding Dirtbikes all day!!! Then riding all night!!
You better start praying for rain from now until the Bank Holiday

fitted 2 x cree lights to handlebars and 2 x cree lights to helmet
they're awesome
turns the dark trail into bright white light
the tendrils of trees and plants grabbing at you are very weird
however i look like a darlek - ahaha

Sounds like you are all set for the 24, good luck hope you enjoy it.
What bike are you doing it on ?
Don't forget a decent red light to put on your back.
What time are you getting there on the Saturday ?

planning on using the 250 as there are lots of open going fire roads where it excels.
A red light for my back is a good idea, i guess you are presuming people are going to be overtaking me?
hoping to get there early as possible Saturday, scrutineer, erect tent, cook a roast chicken and go sleep so do NOT wake me when you finally roll up. Remember you journey last year? Got a proper vehicle this time?

Rich
Red light for back is not just a good idea, you wont be allowed to start without one !! Make sure it is on secure as if it falls off you will be stopped at the check and told to get one. Not sure about people overtaking you as you are a silver medal wearing riding god but if you stack and are lying in a bush somewhere at least the marshalls will have half a chance of finding you in the dark, put 1 on your bike as well, it will help with finding it in the undergrowth
.
Roast chicken Hmmm i can tell you have been talking to Drew, he will eat at least 2 on the journey up there your van will smell of peri peri for evermore.
Dont remind me of that journey, 12hrs to get to Wales Arghhh what a nightmare .
T5 now so hopefully all good, touch wood and all that.
You sure you dont want a little cuddle when i get there
your sure gonna need one after 24hrs matey.

Drew reckons he gonna shower me down????
But i don't fancy it, well not now anyways.
24 hours in the saddle maybe a diff story
And you can keep your cuddles and sausage fingers to yourself too
leave me alone - i know what i'm doing
