Thumpstar Pro 120

Postby Dave » Sun Jun 15, 2014 6:16 pm

Hey,

A mate of mine is having a clear out and wants to sell his Thumpstar Pro 120.

I know this isn't the go to place to sell pit-bikes but I'm putting the feelers out everywhere.

The Thumpstar isn't one of the Chinese knockoffs it's one of the top brands. It can hit jumps with an 18stone rider on the back.

Great compression and started first kick after being in the shed for about a year. Sounds great and still flies like ssss of a shovel.

Ideally looking for £400 but happily accepting offers as has a few niggles:

Scuffs here and there and needs a new exhaust clamp (simple like on most aftermarket end-pipes).

Comes with factory shock for up to 18stone riders and a soft shock for kiddies.

If you know anyone please let me know.

Too much money. I sold my road registered pit bike for £400 and it was not a chinese copy, that was about 10 years ago when they were trendy.

Hmm what you reckon it's worth then (bearing in mind what £400 was worth 10 years ago)?

How many hours, how good condition. Wouldn`t wanna spend more than £250 on a used pit bike even in tip top condition.

It's not that bad. Not sure of hours but never been cained. It was his daughter's, hence the soft spring.

Had a chat with him about what you said and agrees could accept that kind of money, even if it was a grand new.

I was tempted by it. Had a little play before putting in the van but I've got enough toys! Good pull, and no effort to start.

Hopefully it generates more interest than the GoKarting idea. That was a tragedy. We're short 3 drivers to get the track for the 29th!
