With Dunlop and Michelin being the main mousses people use - has anyone tried technomousse?

Yes but you must have got the French version which would obviously be rubbish.

I have used Wine-x and not had an issue. Also supplied and fitted by Watling tyres Swanley.

Re: mousses
Do you really have to lube mousses after each ride to keep them in good condition?
Is that as difficult as it sounds considering most who don't have a mousse changer in their garage consider fitting them to be a pain in the @rse?

No but they are a service item, not really difficult once you get the technique down.
I would service them once in a tyres life. And make sure you keep the weight off em when bike is in garage between rides.

No.
you reloob them when you change the tyres. I find they last 2-3 years.
