Old nube in Elstead/Guildford/Farnham area

Hi all,

I'm an Elstead (Gu8) based, long term, occasional biker but new to the offroad stuff. I recently got myself an old Yamaha XT350 (don't laugh, it's sorted now ) which was initially bought for tinkering with and for road use but which I've been using to explore trails with recently. I actually love the bike and I'm finding the transition from tarmac to trail to be fun, exciting, challenging and scary at times as I try to grapple with my road biased brain and tyres. I'm really looking forward to being on the forum and soaking up the knowledge. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute something at some stage too.
