Re: bagshot d1 d2
Well, that was a fun day.
Twas a tad chilly to start but we soon warmed up.
By the third lap we were all riding very well; we overtook loads of people. To be honest, a lot of the time because many riders were not looking ahead and just following others into log-jams or deep ruts. I did manage to get past a few riders in the tight going and also on the inside of the hairpins on the fire-road blasts. I even managed to "clean" all but the first of the really steep climbs, despite being on an ickle 2-stroke.
On our last lap the three of us were getting a bit too "racey"; Lee tried to shoulder-butt a tree out of the way to overtake me and I twatted my foot on a stump getting him back. We decided that it was time to quit while we were ahead.
A very well put together event if maybe a bit on the pricey side. Really good fun to ride Bagshot D1 & D2 together. I think the lap was 6.5 miles and it had everything from tight woods, mud, to long climbs and some fast fire-roads

I felt like dog poo Sunday morning but glad I got out of bed for this! Agree that having both D1 & D2 in the loop made for some fun riding. Just what I needed to blow away the extra KG's I have put on over the festive period.
