Anyone ever ridden ....... or fancy riding....

Hi Guys,
Has anyone ever ridden Lime Kiln Lane near Monmouth? I have seen footage and it looks amazing. I may be planning a trip to this area and then onto mid wales to do the florida strata etc. I need to find more info on the Monmouth area to see if I can plan a route for day 1 , day 2 in Mid Wales is sorted as I have ridden there many times. I will put some dates to the trip when routes sorted but looking Mid March if anyone interested. This would be a friday/ sat ride and then home sunday.

I think Limekiln Lane is included in the route of the Wyegate Long Distance Trial which I ride most years. Pant Glas steps is another cracker in the same area http://youtu.be/Yr0OQS6vXLk
If Matt (see Luke's post above) isn't able to help you, you could try Gray (id GraySWTRF on the National forum), he's the chairman of South Wales TRF and knows the area very well.

For Limekiln lane, you climb a narrow tarmac hill out of Tintern (off the A466 opposite Tintern Abbey), which after a while becomes unmetalled. I think it's a UCR. See ST 532 997.
You'll see 'Pant Glas' on the OS map at SO 480 042 but I'm not exactly sure where the steps are. Best to have a knowledgeable guide for riding that area.

I normally try to get to Wales twice a year so will be planning something later in the year as well. Will keep you informed.
