Seasonal TROs

Postby PaulMcLaughlin » Mon Oct 12, 2015 1:02 pm

Hi,
I bravely headed out East of Guildford yesterday to rediscover some of the trails I was introduced to by Mudeevee earlier in the year only to find that some around Shere had partially gated, width restricted, seasonal TRO's in place. Can you clarify for me if those TROs completely close the lanes or just to traffic wider than the width limit specified i.e. are they closed to bikes or just 4x4s?
ll the best,
Paul Mc

these tro's apply to 4 x4 only, they are open to bikes all year round. which is why the barriers are so designed. the signage does state this, the orders should be displayed at each end of eack road.

Thanks Silvergull,
The barrier does suggest that bikes are permitted but I thought it could just be for walker and horse access. The signage seemed open to misinterpretation to me but thanks for clearing it up.
