The Guildford and District Group of Advanced Motorists (the car group) will be hosting an event at Ripley Hall to which you are all cordially invited.
We shall be hosting a talk by Lester Parsons, who has recently retired from the Police, on “Lines & Signs”. Those who have heard Lester at other meetings consider this a fascinating lecture and not to be missed! It contains numerous insights into the wealth of information available to drivers just observing the tin plates and white paint that adorn our roads.
The morning will also contain a follow-up talk by our recently elected President, Alan Bone, on dealing with emergency vehicles and the training he is doing with ambulance drivers and paramedics all around the country. Those of you at the AGM will know that Alan’s talk there contained many helpful hints and some interesting anecdotes.
The venue is Ripley Village Hall, opening at 09:00 for a 09:30 start. Refreshments will be available. Entrance is free to Group members and guests are more than welcome.
