I was out riding today with Paul and sue with their sidecar we had just got to the end of a lane near the Brookham school junction of Chiltley lane just outside of Liphook when an irate pikey came and blocked our route be was ranting and Raving saying it was not a leagal right of way but was clearly marked byway we where not the only ones who bot verbally abused by this guy as later we bumped in to some other trail rider's who said they where threatened by a guy with a shotgun, we ascertained that was the same lane and pikey that we had come across .
Has anyone else had trouble on this lane ?

cos there is a illegal camp there

i hope your friend has reported this. threatening with a shotgun is an imprisonable offence, under any circumstance. hard to credit, really!

Yes that is the one , we went back the same way 4 hours later but did not see anyone,
