Hi,
I have just ordered a CCM GP450 for an attempt at the Trans America Trail next year. I'll be using the Surrey and Hampshire lanes from June to get my offroad legs back and gain some fitness. Planning a week of solid off roading in France in September.
Current bikes are a Ducati Multistrada and a custom BMW R100.
Hopefully the lanes will be reasonably dry during the Summer as I'll be using the stock dual sport tyres for a while before switching to something more off road oriented later in the year.
Steve

Hi and welcome Steve.
I imagine you would be fine with dual sport tyres as there are a fair few members who ride larger bikes (up to GSs and 950/990s etc) on the trails. Picking 130+ kgs out of the mud might be a challenge though

Hi Steve & welcome,
I had a test ride on the CCM you ordered last year and thought it was a cracker - ideal for the TAT
See you on the lanes at some point.
