Noob run into Alton

Postby Dave » Sat Mar 02, 2013 4:51 pm

Went out on a brilliant run today with Grants, or Bruski, As he was taking out a new guy called Dom who's cool on his induction run. I thought this would be a good time to test out my new second hand YZ 250 and it was!

Grant had at first thought about leading the run around Hindhead but Instead went to Alton.

In brilliant Braham style he destroyed the new guy

Cheers for the great ride

That's me grimacing in pain. Big respect to Grant and Dave and anyone else who has the endurance of these two. I consider myself reasonably fit but found the day on the trails knackering! My lower back is killing me today.

Thanks again for the ride guys

Dude, believe me, you did very well considering that was your first time out on your own bike. The lanes we where on are considered intermediate maybe even experienced so a job very well done. I apologise if Dave and I where a little over enthusiastic on the bikes, it was just that we where both super pumped for riding and we tend to feed of one another's energy!!!!! LOL!

BTW first 4 vids are off of the reversed helmet cam are of the tops of trees!!!! LMAO!

Couldn't agree more. It's not advised to take people new to trail riding onto some of those lanes. Some people who haven't ridden before look at you and think its fairly easy to do all this stuff, it's just a matter of twist and go, which is silly because you use a lot of muscles all over to control you and the bike. The fact is you rode really well, nailed Water Lane and tackled everything. It'd be good to ride again. Top bloke. C U Next Time
