We’ve prevailed at previous Public Inquiries so this is not a lost cause.
We have top legal representation who almost always prevail in exposing the unlawful acts of the monied mob trying to restrict your access.
Where is King Arthur when you need him? Well I found he is still battling on alongside us.

Have made a personal donation.
Does this sound like something the Surrey TRF could spend some of its run fees fund on?
I’m sure we’ve all ridden there. Gets my vote as a starter.

Hi Simon I also agree with Surrey TRF making a Donation. The crowd funding is going well and nearly hit its target with only 370 plus donating!

All
Great to see there is so much support for this. It looks like the £10,000 target has been hit already and it’s been stretched to £20,000!
As well as raising the cash needed this sends a message about number of people who are opposed to what the authorities are doing, and who are willing to put their money where their mouth is.
I’ve been in touch with John V about how we might contribute our Group funds, which after all, are your all your personal contributions. (And I agree the money is doing nothing for us sat in the bank.)
Your Group Officers are now considering a couple options on whether and how we might contribute and I’ll report back soon.
Thanks for all your support.

Stonehenge crowdfunding - please give and share!
Hi Guys
All of the Group Officers have been discussing what we might do and considered a few different options.
The majority (5 of your 7 Officers excluding me) believe we no longer a need to contribute from Group funds as the first target of £10,000 has been hit; and that we keep our funds for a time when they are needed.
We still very much support the initiative and encourage members to contribute to the campaign as individuals and raise awareness of the campaign more generally.
Ron in particular has done exemplary work here raising it ls profile with 30+ organisations/forums who he has links with.
Lots of small contributions from many contributors, including non-trail riders, is the aim. Not a dollop of cash from one Group.
Thank you everyone for contributing and raising these ideas.
Thanks
Steven

Re: Stonehenge crowdfunding - please give and share!
Following the decision not to contribute from club funds (which I did not support) I have now made a personal donation.
Cheers,
Murray (Treasurer).
