Hi Steve,
Great to meet you and everyone else yesterday. Im the newbie that came to your meeting yesterday. Anyhow I was dead keen to join you on saturday however after discusiing the matter with my physio therapist this morning she suggests a full days riding might be ambitious considering the current progress ( or lack of ) following my achilles tendern damage way back in early December 2012.
So im gonna do a few hours of enduro practice instead in Hants and see how I get on. Just checking the trailer and bike out now for any problems.
I will keep and eye out on the forum for any other dates for a similar type of ride to this saturday's newbie / starter day.
Many thanks for the warm welcome.
Mark

Hmm yeah.
Probably for the best. Surrey TRF newbie trail rides are way tougher than enduro practises

Hi Steve,
Yeah ended up at Iron Hill, Liphook. the land has not been ridin on for several years I understand, and it showed. totally virgin like woods complete with hidden stumps and roots etc. I came off only once in the 7 miles course, oh and bottled a jump for fear it may aggrovate my injury should i have got it wrong. A couple of nice fire tracks for quick blast but overall id a said not novice friendly at all.
Challenging and enjoyable it was and very grateful I was for opportunity to ride there. Onwards and upwards I feel confident that I should be able to do a full days ride out very shortly.
How was your day starting from boxhill...or ill have a look on the forum for a post..
Cheers
